FiTONIC Vanilla Chai Protein Shake
Oh. My. Goodness. Happiness can be found in a cup! One of our customers mentioned that she was enjoying her FiTONIC Fit protein powder as a Chai Latte. Say wha?!? So you know that got our kitchen wheels spinning.
This morning, I started a fire in the fireplace, lit a Pumpkin Souffle candle from Wax Poetic (a local candle maker), and started playing with spices. This is a subtle chai protein shake. All the delicious chai spice without it being overwhelming. The vanilla flavor shines through with delightful spice to change up a basic shake.
This recipe is a perfect comfort snack. I didn't want to add nut butters or bananas or any of the other often-used ingredients in smoothies. We purposefully kept our calorie count low so that people could enjoy a smoothie as an on-the-go-snack. This one keeps at FiTONIC Fit's 120 calorie count + the calories of the nut milk you choose to use (which vary a bit).
So make this yummy vanilla chai spiced smoothie, curl up under a blanket, and enjoy the tastes of the season!
- 1 scoop FiTONIC Fit Protein Powder
- 1.5 c. almond milk
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cardamom
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ⅛ tsp cloves
Blend together. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
