What a smoothie that not only tastes great but just feels healthy as you drink it? Loaded with ingredients to pack a punch of health and taste this should be a staple in your smoothie repertoire.
Ginger can aid in cardiovascular health and contains lots of medicinal purposes including aiding with nausea and reducing muscle pain.
Tumeric is another wonderful substance that can help prevent heart disease. Tumeric also has a strong anti-inflammatory property and can improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.
- 2/3 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1/2 banana
- 1 T. almond butter (or whatever nut butter is your thing)
- 1 T. chia seed (all in or hold some back to sprinkle at the end)
- 1 scoop FiTONIC Fit protein powder
- 1/2 c ice cubes
Blend all ingredients. Top with a few chia seeds and enjoy!
